Alanna Butler is a 24 year old Abstract Painter/Photographer/Freelance and  Mixed Media Artist born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA but now currently resides in Sharon PA. Raised by religious parents, she has now found spirituality through herbalism, astrology, tarot reading, reiki healing and crystal therapy. She also runs a business called AEtheric Alchemy with her partner Odin, located in Sharon, PA. Utilizing metaphysics and spirituality, she creatively transforms the way we heal, learn and live, so that we may truly live for others.

 

Using various techniques when it comes to her paintings, usually depending on her mood she is in at that particular moment in time. This sometimes involves incorporating recycled materials like cardboard tubes, boxes, wood, plastics, newspaper etc. into her various works creating a 3Dimensional type style. ..."I am very into the metaphysical and spiritual aspects of life and always try to mold this into my artwork. I love when I can put my heart and soul into my works. Sometimes this involves getting my hands wet/dirty, but that’s the fun part."...

 

Her works have been displayed in a various group shows over the past few years in Pittsburgh PA & Sharon PA, each show being very different and unique. She is a freelance artist as well, she has done plenty of commission based works. ..."I am very flexible and love when people come to me with ideas of what they want their piece to look like and how I can add my twist to it.  Art is my life and to be able to share it with the world makes me so happy...
